OBSERVATIONS: The Corruption Shuffle

WL: "Welp! Looks like Traveller keeps trying...and he keeps failing."

DL: "WhY...wHy do I fEEl So wET? I...I doN't fEeL gOOD..."

WL: "You never feel good, honey. In fact you're kinda dead. Because you trusted an idiot and you suffered for it. Oh, and by the way..."

DL: "WhAt ARe yOu...NO! WATER! GET IT AWAY FROM ME, PLEASE! I CAN'T TAKE IT! PLEASE!!!"

WL: "Heh heh heh..."

BL: "I would suggest you close that face of yours, War, before I rip it off. You're being...well, irritating. Let's just say I don't...tend to give those I find irritating much slack. You wanna join your wildcat friend in this wineglass of mine? 'Cause don't think I wont do it..."

EL: "Ooh, there he is! It'rs that Traveller guy! Lord Brevon sends his regards, you scarfed skepticallian!"

SL: "id rather you didnt do that, if thats alright with you. youre not much more than brevon's lackey. dont want to be 'dragon' your feet now, do you?"

EL: "I...QUIET, YOU! Or I'll get Lord Brevon to destroy you!"

SL: "try it, kiddo. ive got Gaster Blasters up the slightly crisp backside"

WL: "...Too much information."

SL: "regardless, i get the impression that you probably are not capable of what youre saying. all to get at brevon, i guess. i bet you just love to think youre putting those tendrils to good use as he slowly rams his antennae up your-"

EL: "YOU TAKE THAT BACK!"

Amelia: "Traveller, could you stop this, please? I get you're just trying to help, but it ain't working."

Traveller: "I'm only trying to clean up after myself."

Amelia: "Yeah but you shouldn't toss the mess behind your back after you pick it up! Urgh, this sort of thing is why we broke up to begin with."

Traveller: "No, we did that because neither really loved the other. It was...teen love, as they say."

Amelia: "Well, I GUESS that's true..."

Traveller: "It's alright, Ames. I understand. Though this is probably a bad time to mention it, I've...moved on. Found someone else."

Amelia: "...Who?"

Alright this is less of an actual observation and more of a normal funny comic. Well, less than that, to be honest. More of an excuse to draw various "fallen Lilac" designs. The punchline being that Traveller, after his miserable attempt to save War Lilac, went to a few more Freedom Planet universes where their Lilacs either died or fell in some other way and attempted to "save" them again. With...mixed success.

From Left to Right:

War Lilac:
"The first Fallen Lilac, and the most well known. This War Lilac was born through a number of factors, all related to Traveller. His interference in her world not only led to her being unable to reach the healing baths after her torture, but also having to deal with the monstrous Clone Master and being forced to use the powerful but mentally damaging Blade of Hysteria. It was this, combined with the death of a loved friend, which caused War Lilac to snap, murder Clone Master and establish her own little hell on Planet Avalice. Knowing she will one day fall to Traveller again, War Lilac does the best with what she has; which, mentally, isn't a lot. In fact, she's even planning on collecting all of the Fallen Lilacs from Traveller's actions and forming The League of Extraordinary Lilacs. Unstable and violent, War Lilac can swing from psychotic and unforgiving to mentally tortured and a sobbing wreck and back in all of a few seconds, not helped by the hallucinations and voices she sees all around her."

Drowned Lilac:
"This Lilac was once incredibly prosperous; defeating Brevon for good, saving Christmas, defending her reputation from her family and even teaming up with Sonic himself to defend her entire universe as a whole. However, her demise would come from her godmother, attempting to help her restraint-escaping abilities by locking her in a steel pod and throwing her in a pool _{(yeah, I'm going there again. Hear me out this time)}. However, because the pod had been damaged in transit, water rushed into the pod and it began to sink, leaving Lilac without the key needed to escape the restraints...and she drowned because of it. While feeling an extreme amount of guilt from it, the godmother escaped any repercussions from this.  Hearing of this, an enraged Traveller tracked down the godmother and attacked her brutally, spilling her blood into the pool where she drowned. The blood of the godmother and some of the energy run-off of Traveller's Hysteria form caused Lilac to revive as a wraith (an undead being looking for vengeance), pulling the godmother under the water and tearing her throat out. Her deed done, she went with Traveller across the multiverse, before eventually falling in with War Lilac. Depressed and delirious, Drowned Lilac remains barely hanging onto reality and blindly follows orders when prompted, unsure what to do with her lack of life. She also developed hydrophobia as a result of her death, and starts having a panic attack at the sight of the liquid; which is problomatic for her due to her wraith body forever leaking the stuff and leaving her body cold and damp."

Blood Lilac:
"A vampire Lilac, and a Hellblood one at that. To be fair, this one was less Traveller's own doing and more just a result of him being in the same universe. This was the one where Traveller went in with the full knowledge of the events and used that to his favour; keeping Spade from stealing the Kingdom Stone, killing Dail and Serpentine before they could get a leg up and even getting Lilac to the healing baths after her torture from the hands of Brevon (the one event he could not change, no matter what). However, on the way to the healing baths, he was ambushed by the Hellbloods, manned by the vengeful Lowell Highcastle. Lowell shot at the running Traveller, managing to hit him square in the back. He approached to finish him off, only to find his bullet had also struck the already damaged Lilac, killing her instantly. Struck by guilt, Lowell let Traveller go and instead tended to Lilac's wounds the only way he knew how; bite her neck, drain her blood and turn her into a Hellblood vampire like him. From there, Blood Lilac followed the Hellbloods, until she too became enshackled with War Lilac. Being a vampire and as instable as her bretheren,  Blood Lilac is cruel and sadistic at the best of times, putting even War Lilac to shame. Putting on her best (read: fairly poor) British accent, she preys on all forms of life in order to extract and drain their precious life fluids. She puts on an act of fake nobility to hide her cruely, something she enjoys a fair bit, and is actually happy with her form; the only Fallen Lilac to think so, in fact."

Evil Lilac:
"She picked the name, by the way. This Lilac's corruption resulted in Traveller's poor attempts to cover up the mistakes of Blood Lilac's formation, mainly by attempting to do the same but this time through the Coalition of Planets, working with them instead. This didn't work as he was shot down over Dragon Valley instead of Torque, getting captured by Serpentine as a result. Through his torture, Traveller was forced to tell Brevon what he told the Coalition, that Lilac was the biggest and strongest threat to Brevon. Brevon 'thanked' him by electrifying the life out of him (leading to his new, spikier appearance), capturing Lilac from her home and torturing her into becoming his sidekick, like with Dail. Saving Traveller herself, Amelia decided to mess with Brevon by editing Lilac's new personality to be not cold and considerate, but almost like a fangirl towards Brevon in the same vein as Amy Rose. Brevon was not deterred by this and, once turning Planet Avalice into a crater and enslaving all who were worthy on the surface, sent Evil Lilac across dimensions to find Amelia and take her down. Energetic, insane and incredibly 'evil', Evil Lilac wears her allegiance on her sleeve and would do anything to please her master, up to defending him from any and all insults. As such, she tends to be Sans Lilac's favourite person to mess with."

Sans Lilac:
"Perhaps one of the more interesting examples of a Fallen Lilac, this one is unique in the fact that the Traveller who corrupted her was not the same one that corrupted all the others. Instead, it was a very similar Traveller from elsewhere in the multiverse going through HIS version of the events as standard. The change here was during Lilac's torture, Traveller set Blade to self-destruct, destroying the room and killing everyone but Lilac. While this halted the invasion of the planet, Lilac was still not able to access the healing baths, but she managed to escape into the Jade Creek while Carol and Milla were caught and re-incarcerated by the Majister. It was here that she learned of the remains of Blade's energies powering her up, allowing her weak but established control of ice and water. Branded a criminal by the Three Kingdoms (with them all going into a bloody war afterwards), Lilac went into hiding, trying to train her abilities as best as she could before War Lilac helped her escape. Lilac could never recover her physical or mental state, and as such remains increasingly fragile in body and in mind, hiding the latter with jokes and puns to bury her more insecure and hopeless side. She has also developed a lazier side to her personality due to her supposed impulsiveness getting her maimed last time, often sleeping and finding ways to play games and doodle, even on the 'job'."
