Traveller (Post-FDWM Design)

Well, here it is. As I mentioned, I have given y'all the design of Traveller after the events of Freedom Dies With Me. Now if you read the story, Traveller doesn't exactly get a lot of slack from the events (all in the name of keeping him balanced, of course), and as this shows he didn't take it well. At all, you could say.

As you can see, I've attempted to go a slightly different route with the colours and the weapons. I made the colours paler, partly to signify age and partly as better contrast. I mean the really dark shades of every colour was getting a bit old, wasn't it? The weapons have been redesigned as A: they look more fitting this way and B: they are designed to accentuate Traveller's personality.

The Blade of Hysteria has been redesigned to better show off its status as A: a demonic weapon and B: an old one, at the very least one gone yellow through years of age. And its cracks are now red instead of green in order to better portray Traveller's newfound aggression. The personality has changed a bit more, too. The Blade's swing from War God to Jokester has been described as "jarring" to me, so I might keep him more consistent, either the former or the latter. I still can't decide.

The new pistol is a semi-fictional one; it's based off of the Hecker and Kock MK23, a big badass pistol that fired .45 designed for Spec Ops forces. Even though they hated it for its weight and the USP eventually took its place. Regardless, I can see Traveller carrying it now, dumping the theatrics of the Desert Eagle and adopting a more practical but still badass solution. There are another two reasons for this, though. The first is that the Deagle helped to...create War Lilac, so he isn't exactly fond of them anymore. The second is that, well, apparently Deagles signify a Gary-Stu. So I ditched it.

Thanks to some actual feedback on the character from those lovely people at Free Scribes of Mobius (of which I AM a member of, BTW, I'll put some links for them down below), I can now work on both Blade and Traveller AND have a place to start. Hence why a lot of him has been...reworked. Reworked weapons, reworked personality, reworked appearance. Maybe even a new girlfriend. Maybe. Regardless, enjoy!
